Description

What makes this guitar special? This is a very unique guitar with the feel of a short-scale and a look like no other. The overall design is almost deceiving in size with an oversized headstock and large swooping wings, but it has the distinct feel of a short-scale guitar, even with its 24.75” scale length. The appearance looks like a mix of the ‘60s and ‘80s with its triangular pickguard, unique shape, and banana cream-esque color, but regardless of its inspiration, remains distinct nonetheless. The C shape neck is very easy to move around from the nut to the cutaway and the body is nice and light and provides a good body to neck weight balance. The controls are simple and intuitive, the pickups have an equal share of P-90 chime and straight-up single-coil jangle, and the rosewood board has some gorgeous figuring. All in all, this guitar will prove to be a very unique addition to any collection.

Condition: This guitar is in very good condition overall. It does possess various small dings, dents, scratches and areas of discoloration and wear throughout, as well as one large scuffed area on the back, but otherwise is still pretty clean and still looks fantastic. The frets show only light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod is functioning.

Body: Double cutaway mahogany body with single-ply white top binding in Yellow finish. 3-ply white pearloid pickguard. Fixed bridge with individually adjustable saddles. Chrome knurled control knobs.

Neck: Medium round C shape maple neck and bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays. Vintage-style tuning machines. Bound headstock. 1 5/8” nut width. 24 ¾” scale.

Electronics: Musicvox special design P-90 pickups. 1 x master volume, 1 x master tone. 3-way pickup selector.

Weight: 6 lbs 7.9 oz

Playability/Sound: The C shape neck is easy to play nut to cutaway and overall has the feel of a short-scale guitar. The pickups have a little less chime than traditional P-90s but also introduce a bit more vintage-sounding jangle.

Case: Includes padded gigbag.
