Here for sale is the Pro Series Jackson SL3MG Soloist in the awesome "Amber Sunburst" finish. The SL3MG is a new model in the Pro series lineup. By popular demand Jackson has added EMG active pickups to the standard SL3. Introduced in 1984 the Jackson Soloist is the original high performance electric guitar, and though largely unchanged, its design has been tweaked and modified to perfection since then. The Soloist is the epitome of modern guitar building perfection and elegance of design melded together to leave nothing to impede playability. Jackson pioneered features like a very slim "fast" neck set through the body instead of bolted on, and deep cutaways giving the player real access to each and every one of those 24 frets. The Soloist is also one of the 1st guitars to use high performance high output pickups in a combination capable of a huge variety of tones from smooth jazz to searing high gain leads and chunky rhythm chops. Often overlooked, one of the main features that set Jackson guitars apart from other Strat Style guitars is the compound radius fretboard, a very complex modification to traditional guitar design that has truly changed the way the electric guitar is played. Pro Series Jackson guitars are absolutely exceptional instruments both sonically and visually. Their fit and finish is consistently outstanding and the "out of the box" set up is always perfect.
