Features:
Great playing & incredible sounding 1950 Fender Broadcaster with original thermometer hard shell case! The body & neck were professionally refinished about 15 years ago & the guitar has aged nicely since then with some light weather checking, nicks, dings, chips & wear areas. The Fender & Broadcaster logos on the headstock are not original. The neck has been refretted & has a new nut, but the original frets & nut are included. The new frets are Fender Vintage fretwire size 6230. There is no fret wear. The tuning machines have been changed, but the original Klusons are included with the guitar & they are in perfect working condition. No extra holes were added to the headstock. The volume pot is a little scratchy & was changed to a vintage one from 1949, but the original is included. Also included is the matching tone pot from 1949. The original 1950 tone pot is currently in the guitar. The input jack is a newer switchcraft, but the original input jack is included & is working. The capacitor has been changed to a newer Luxe, but the original is also included with the guitar. The pickguard, pickups, bridge plate, saddles, control knobs, control plate & selector switch are all original. The guitar weighs about 6.5 lbs. Here's your opportunity to own a true vintage Fender pre-Telecaster solid body electric guitar at a fraction of the price they were selling for just a few years ago!
